The Portland Bicycle Forum: A discussion of the Recommendations from Bicycle Friendly Communities
In October 2009, the City of Portland was awarded an honorable mention for our application to become a bicycle friendly community. While pleased with this accomplishment, we know there is much work to be done and we are using the recommendations from the Bicycle Friendly Communities Organization as a starting point. We also know that given the current financial picture of local and state government that we must look for creative solutions and further, solutions that are more inclusive of all members of the public. In other words, a bicycle program that is part of a Transportation for All initiative.
Therefore, the City Council Standing Committee on Transportation and The Office of
Transportation Policy invites you to attend: The Portland Bicycle Forum - A discussion of the Recommendations from Bicycle Friendly Communities.
